The issue is, what do we want?
The Hippocratic Oath, a traditional statement to guide physicians that has Greek and Latin roots, includes an ethical injunction stated in modern terms as, “Above all, do no harm.”

Hopefully, Venice City Council members will follow that direction as they wrestle with a complex and difficult process of deciding how, and how much, to develop the airport.

New Urbanism gets lip service in recent city council vote
After planning to have a committee pick one of six applicants for developing the airport, city officials quietly announced a new approach two days later.

The new plan seems likely to draw more favorable reaction, since the public will be informed and involved earlier in the process.

On April 25 city council will have a 9 a.m.-4 p.m. workshop with the public invited to listen to and comment on all the presentations by those interested in developing airport

April will bring changes to Venice
Dateline: Venice, April 1.

A sweeping series of changes in the so-called “Venice Lifestyle” are scheduled to go into place April 1.

Police Chief Julie Williams has announced that undercover policeman will be outfitted with new flowered shirts and plaid shorts so that they will blend in better with residents and tourists.

Consideration is being given by Venice City Council to alleviating the traffic problems on the Venice Avenue Bridge. Citizens
